Glad to have CU back up and running. Apparently, Turkish “hackers” got into our blog and really f*cked shit up through a Wordpress world-writable file or something, deleting our entire site. Awesome! We were really impressed. Fortunately, we pulled our thumbs out of our asses in time to get everything back in order. All seems to be running smoothly for now, just in time for our weekly Friday Mix.
A couple of weeks ago the CU crew checked out the Pistolwhipped party where NYC’s heavy bass champion, Drop The Lime, got us hype on the dancefloor with his heavy hitting break-core beats and Baltimore club. DTL is the moniker for Luca Venezia who has put out a couple of albums via Tigerbeat6 including this year’s We Never Sleep, a ” a fury of gritty club bangers dripping with romance and italo-punk attitude.” Venezia also has a new side project called Curses.
